Decks

Building a freestanding deck to gain access to a room on the 2nd floor of our barn. The deck will be 18.5 x 10 feet and 8.5 feet off the ground. The door to the room is 8.5 feet off the ground. We will be pouring 10 cement footers that are 4' deep and using pressure treated wood for the deck. Your application for a Building Permit has been reviewed for compliance with the 2022 State of Connecticut Building Code. The permit for the proposed work is approved. All work is subjected to field inspections.
