The Project proposes two (2) signs that will have an area of approximately 193 square feet each where a maximum 50 square feet is permitted. The two proposed signs that exceed the maximum sign area requirement are the signs located on the facades facing Greene Street and Christopher Columbus Drive. The proposed sign on Greene Street will amount to approximately 7% of the total area of the lst story (approximately 2,639 square feet) and approximately 0.5% of the total area of the facade (approximately 36,724 square feet). The proposed sign on Christopher Columbus Drive will amount to approximately 3.3% of total area the lst story (approximately 5,751 square feet) and 0.4% of the total area of the facade (approximately 52,246 square feet).
