Remove and Reinstall of Solar Equipment This service covers the removal, secure storage, and reinstallation of roof-mounted solar equipment to allow the roofing contractor to complete the roof replacement. Phase 1 – Removal • De-energize and remove solar panels, mounting hardware, roof attachments, and necessary roof wiring. • Label and organize equipment for reinstallation. • Provide new flashings or ChemLinks as required by roof conditions. Storage • Safely package, transport, and store equipment indoors during roofing work. • Return equipment to the property when the roof is ready. Phase 2 – Reinstallation • Reinstall panels, mounting hardware, roof attachments, and roof-mounted wiring. • Verify electrical connections and perform basic operational testing. • Confirm monitoring communication, when applicable. Excluded: Exterior disconnects, monitoring equipment, exterior conduits, electrical panels, utility interconnection equipment, and other non-roof-mounted components.
