This project consists of interior renovation with structural modifications to improve the existing layout. Work includes selective demolition, new finishes, modification of load bearing elements, and new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing. Systems. At this time, we have not included any exterior site related work. MEP Permits applied separately. Fire Marshal's Office Notes: - All work shall comply with the 2022 CT State Fire Safety Code, the 2022 CSBC all its current amendments and all its referenced documents. - All Means of Egress shall comply with Chapter 10 of the CSBC and Chapter 7 of the CSFSC. All Means of Egress shall be properly marked with Exit Signage as required by the 2022 CSFSC Chapter 7 Final Inspections are required by the FM and the BO prior to the issuance of a statement of completion. HEALTH DEPARTMENT COMMENTS: Health Department approval for change in use from office to vocational / training center with approximately 12 students and existing 2 bedroom apartment. The change in use is not an increase in use. A code complying area is available in the existing septic system area. Existing 602.5 SF and proposed is 537.5 SF.
