The customer currently has a mobile home with one bathroom. The existing hot and cold water distribution system is installed using older Vega piping. At this time, there is a complete break in one of the water lines located above the stretched plastic vapor barrier and insulation. In order to locate and document the issue, a small section of the vapor barrier was cut and insulation was moved to access the affected area and obtain photographs for evaluation. To provide a long-term solution, we recommend a complete water system repipe using Grade A Expansion PEX piping. This work will include the removal of all existing plastic vapor barrier material and insulation as necessary to gain proper access to the piping system. The new Expansion PEX piping system will be installed to serve all plumbing fixtures and appliances throughout the mobile home, including but not limited to: Water heater Kitchen sink Lavatory sink Toilet Shower Main water service entry point Exterior hose bib Any other existing water-supplied fixture or appliance As part of this installation, all necessary shut-off valves will be upgraded. New inline brass Expansion PEX ball valves will be installed where required, and new chrome fixture shut-off valves will be provided for fixtures such as: Kitchen sink Dishwasher Toilet Lavatory sink
