Installation of a Champion 36,000 BTU R-454B 14 Seer Outdoor AC Unit paired to a First Co. 36,000 BTU Hydro Air Handler in the attic for the 2nd floor zone ? Outdoor unit will be placed in the same location as the existing unit on newly framed and poured concrete pad (42"x42"x4") ? Outdoor unit will be connected to the power with new disconnect, whip, and surge protector ? First Co. Air handler will be installed in the attic on top of a secondary drain pan with float switch ? Air handler will be connected to the supply and return ductwork plenums and sealed ? Refrigerant lines will be run from the outdoor unit to the air handler; Lines will run on the exterior of the house before entering through the attic and working their way to the air handler location ? Drainage piping will be completed for the new air handler to the existing drain ? Hot water supply and return piping will be connected to the air handler (Stadler fittings) ? Hot water zone will be refilled with water and air purged from zone, heating will be tested ? Wiring will be completed for the outdoor unit and air handler ? Refrigerant lines will be brought to a vacuum to remove moisture from the lines and will be pressure tested; Refrigerant will be released to system and refrigerant added per manufacturers specifications based on line set length ? System will be tested in both heating and cooling operation
