Remove the existing deck and build a new one of the exact same size. \n\nThe new deck is the exact same size as the existing one. The main area of the deck is 20x14. \n\nThere is a small portion of deck at the top of the stairs that is 4x7 feet. Then the stairs take up 4x7 feet. I drew the dimensions of the existing deck on the plan along with the set back from the property lines. I also included a page of the plans that I will be submitting for the building permit that shows the new deck dimensions. It shows that the existing and proposed new deck the same size.
