New House The paper version that was submitted with the building permit is Pages A2.10 dated 6/5/25, A2.11 dated 06/5/25, A4.10, A4.11, A5.10 dated 8/5/25 and Plans by GNCB page S1 dated 10/6/25, S2 dated 10/6/25 and Site Plan by angus McDonald Dated11/23/23 Revised 5/6/25 1. MEP permits must be applied for and taken out separately for all trades. 2. Foundation must have rebar installed per building code. 3. Entire roof must be protected with Ice and Water underlayment, or all plywood seams must be taped with an approved bituminous tape. Zip system is an approved alternate. Contractor must take picture and email to this office. 4. Radon piping must be installed from under slab to a through-roof penetration with electrical provided in the attic space for future exhaust fan. 5. Garage must be separated from the living areas with 5/8 fire code sheetrock or other approved fire separation product. 6. Underside of First floor/basement ceiling must be fire protected if using non-fire protected TJI’s, 2x8’s, 2x6’s or trusses. 2x10 FJ do not have the be fire protected. 7. A minimum of one egress window must be provided in each sleeping area. 8. Any window opening less than 24 inches above finished floor must have opening limiter device with automatic reset. Any window less than 18” above floor must also be tempered. 9. Attic insulation requires R-60, Walls R-30, Floor R-30, a passing ResCheck score or other prescriptive system. 10. Most receptacles must be tamper resistant, arc-fault protected, and in some cases GFCI rated. 11. Owner or contractor must provide in writing the name of the concrete supplier and the installer. 12. Smoke detectors and CO detectors installed per code. Hardwired and inter-connected. 13. Blower door test is now required (3 AC/H to pass) (final report required for CO) 14. Duct leak testing required (final report required for CO) 15. Whole house mechanical ventilation is required (bath exhaust fan may qualify) 16. Drier duct must be solid metal duct from drier connection to point of exhaust.
