Addition-Alteration-Conversion

The scope of the project is to remove one window and add a slider in it's place. There is another slider beside it and this will be replaced with a matching slider. There is also a non load bearing wall that is to be removed. Please see attached drawings. The existing siding will be removed and saved to be installed later. The new slider will be framed in with a triple 2 x 12 header using plywood to obtain a full 5 1/2 thickness. Doors will be installed as per manufacturers spec with flashing, proper fasteners and sealed around perimeter to meet or exceed code. After they are installed the space between door and framing will be spray foamed for insulation. Drywall will be patched in. Siding will be reinstalled as per manufacturers spec. The interior wall that needs to be removed is non load bearing, this will be removed, drywall patched and floor patched in. An outlet and switch need to be moved but this work will be done by a licensed electrician who will pull their own permit. It doesn't appear by looking in the basement there is any plumbing involved.
