HEATING

Install a Zone Air Thin Air 9500 BTU concealed ducted mini split heat pump system, model ZDIY-CD-9I plus ZDIY-CD-9O, to provide heating and cooling for the new approximately 624 square foot addition. The concealed indoor unit will serve the 24 by 18 family room and two 6 by 12 pantry and storage areas using insulated and sealed ductwork. Three supply ducts will serve the family room, with one additional supply split between the two smaller spaces. A properly sized central return system will be installed. System will operate on a dedicated 208 to 230 volt, 15 amp circuit and use the manufacturer supplied R454B precharged refrigerant system. Condensate will discharge to an approved location. All equipment, ductwork, electrical, refrigerant piping, and condensate piping will be installed according to manufacturer requirements and applicable Connecticut codes.
