Remove existing walk in door leading from garage into residence first floor. Remove sheetrock on garage side wall and interior wall. Strip to studs and framing. Remove outside entry door in laundry area. Remove framing of archway and prep for expansion. Remove sheetrock in garage covering plumbing supply lines, prep for rerouting. Rebuild Reframe, move entry door from garage to residence down laterally into current laundry area. Close off, frame and wall off existing entry door at end. Install five-eights sheetrock on garage side and half inch on interior wall. Install steel fire rated door leading from garage into residence. Move plumbing in garage area, build step wall enclosure with R60 insulation plus foam board insulation. Install diagonal support wall to expand archway opening. Modify step from garage into residence as required. Compound, tape, sand sheetrock and prep for painting Move existing bathroom layout forward with all associated plumbing. Install proper venting to washer and toilet drains to prevent back pressure. Plumbing install all new drain and supply line location to fit expansion, install proper venting. Reinstall subflooring Reframe and sheetrock new layout. Install flooring to be selected and supplied by client. Install new interior doors to fit new layout. Install tile and construct mud room Electrical Move and relocation all electrical outlets. Lighting and switch locations to code. Your application for a Building Permit has been reviewed for compliance with the 2022 State of Connecticut Building Code. The permit for the proposed work is approved. All work is subjected to field inspections. Comments below are to be reviewed and followed 1.Separate Electrical, Plumbing, and Mechanical permits may need to be applied for. If work in these areas are being updated/repaired, or altered. IRC R105.1 2.Provide Smoke and CO Detectors per IRC for alterations and additions. IRC R314.2.2, R315.2.2 3.Crawl space underfloor access shall be provided per IRC 408.4 18"x24" through the floor or 16"x24" through wall.
