Alteration to the first-floor Kitchen, Bath & Mudroom/Laundry area. Refinish existing wood floors. Your application for a Building Permit has been reviewed for compliance with the 2022 State of Connecticut Building Code. The permit for the proposed work is approved. All work is subjected to field inspections. Comments below are to be reviewed and followed. 1.Separate Electrical, Plumbing, and Mechanical permits may need to be applied for. If work in these areas are being updated/repaired, or altered. IRC R105.1 2.Provide Smoke and CO Detectors per IRC for alterations and additions. IRC R314.2.2, R315.2.2 3.This approval is based on no structural work being done. Any relocation/removal of walls is assumed to be nonstructural. Any structural modifications, if required, shall be submitted to the building department for approval.
