Renovation of 2 full baths and 1 powder bath. Cosmetic updates include replacement of cabinetry, plumbing fixtures, lighting fixtures, and tile. Installation of exhaust fans in full baths. Adding second sink in guest bath. Expansion of shower footprint in primary bath. Limited plumbing and electrical modifications. Trades to pull respective permits including mechanical permit for new fans. Work to be completed by myself and family. Your application for a Building Permit has been reviewed for compliance with the 2022 State of Connecticut Building Code. The permit for the proposed work is approved. All work is subjected to field inspections. Comments below are to be reviewed and followed. 1. Water closet (toilet) is to be installed at minimum of 15 inches center of any walls. IRC R307.1 2. This approval is based on no structural work being done. Any relocation/removal of walls is assumed to be nonstructural. Any structural modifications, if required, shall be submitted to the building department for approval. 3. Provide Smoke and CO Detectors per IRC for alterations, repairs and additions. IRC R314.2.2, R315.2.2 4. Final cost affidavit will be required at end of project before permit can be closed out. IRC R108.3
