Addition

Project involves alterations to B and S-1 use areas of an existing car dealership and service center. A one story vehicle delivery area addition is also included. The existing building is fully sprinklered and classified as a non-separated mixed use occupancy, and it will remain as such. Zoning approval for building and site only. Zoning approval does not include building signage. Your revisions to the previously submitted building plans have been reviewed for compliance with the 2022 State of Connecticut Building Code. The revisions to the plans for the proposed work was approved based on the following conditions and is subject to field inspections: 1. Exterior continuous insulation will be required on new parapet wall sections. Page A-310 IECC C402.1.3 2. Two drinking fountains are required. One in show room (B occupancy), other in (S-1 occupancy). These water fountains will also required to be ADA complaint. IEBC 1101.1 IPC table 403.1 3. Work shall be installed in accordance to approved plans. Any changes during construction that not in compliance with approved drawings will require an amended set to be submitted for review/ approval. IBC 107.4
