Blasting

Blasting Permit 1)-Maximum Allowable Peak Particle Velocity (PPV) shall not Exceed 1.5 PPV. 2)-For Holes Ten (10) Feet Deep or Less, Maximum Allowable Explosive Poundage shall Not exceed 300 Lbs. and/or Maximum Allowable Holes to be detonated in a single blast shall Not exceed 30. 3)-For Holes Ten (10) Feet Deep or Greater, Maximum Explosive Poundage Allowable shall Not exceed 500 Lbs. and/or Maximum Holes Allowable to be detonated in a single blast shall Not exceed 20. 4)-The City of Rye may add to any Blasting Permit issued whatever terms & conditions deemed necessary to protect Public Health, Safety & Welfare.
