(Nate Parker) This permit application is for the exterior work associated with the renovation of the existing two-story single-family residence at 1 Lighthouse Lane. A separate permit application has already been submitted for the interior renovation work, and a separate permit application has already been submitted for the pergola work. This application is intended to cover the remaining exterior items shown on the submitted architectural plans.\n\nProposed exterior work includes construction of the rear exterior deck/terrace area with required guardrails, posts, footings/piers, framing, decking, and related structural support as shown on the plans. Work also includes the installation of new exterior door openings/doors serving the terrace, including associated framing, flashing, weatherproofing, trim, and exterior finish work.\n\nThis application also includes construction of the proposed front dormers, including roof framing, dormer windows, exterior trim, siding/shingle tie-ins, roofing to match existing, flashing, and all related weatherproofing. The proposed front entry porch/entry roof improvements are also included, including the curved eyebrow roof, roof framing, sheathing, ice and water protection, fascia, soffit, columns/posts, footings, trim, and exterior finishes as shown on the plans.\n\nAll exterior work will be performed in accordance with the submitted architectural drawings, applicable building code requirements, and required inspections. Existing exterior materials and conditions to remain will be protected, and new exterior finishes, roofing, siding/shingles, trim, and flashing will be installed to properly tie into the existing residence.\n
