Wiring

Complete and finish rough electrical wiring left incomplete by the previous contractor. Provide required AFCI (Arc-Fault Circuit Interrupter) protection for the dwelling circuit. Complete wiring of the electric heater circuit to the electrical panel and make final connections. Install baseboard heater. Install thermostat and connect to baseboard heater. Install all required outlets, switches, and cover plates. Investigate the existing electrical box located above the heater. Under the assumption that this wiring feeds the overhead light, properly terminate/dead-end wiring and remove the box where permitted. Troubleshoot and properly configure the existing 3-way switching. Wire and install a new exterior entry light at the doorway, controlled by a single-pole switch. Wire and install one additional receptacle near the staircase as required to meet applicable electrical code.
