Fireplace - Masonry

Demolish the existing chimney above the roofline to the flashing and rebuild using closely matching brick. Install new lead flashing, replace the top terracotta flue tile, build a reinforced cement crown, install a stainless steel multi-flue chimney cap, apply a professional chimney water repellent, and install a UL-listed stainless steel liner for the furnace flue. Repair and rebuild deteriorated fireboxes with new firebrick and refractory mortar and perform smoke chamber repairs as needed. All work to be completed in accordance with the Connecticut State Building Code and NFPA 211.
