As the city's most densely populated neighborhood, downtown is a prime area for a producer/farmer-focused Market. This not only spotlights local and CT-wide producers, it enlivens the Upper Green, draws organic foot traffic to the Historic Chapel Neighborhood, and will introduce the community to some of the local downtown businesses who take part. The Markets will surpass a traditional farmer's market, particularly with its community offerings and engagement.
