Parade or Procession

The March For Education Foundation is organizing a Back-to-School Parade and Community Festival to celebrate students, families, educators, and community organizations as they prepare for the upcoming school year. The event will take place on Sunday, September 6, 2026, beginning with a community parade starting near the edge of the Yale University campus and concluding at 250 Temple Street, New Haven, CT 06511, where a family-friendly festival will follow. The parade will feature students, educators, community groups, marching participants, and local organizations promoting education, youth success, and positive pathways for students. The goal of the parade is to bring the community together in support of education and provide encouragement to students as they return to school. To minimize disruption to the Yale University campus and surrounding pedestrian areas, the parade route will follow main public streets along the perimeter of the campus and through downtown New Haven. * NO VENDING- GIVING AWAY INFORMATION
