THIS APPLICATION IS FOR YORK ST. SEE OB-26-00335 FOR CHAPEL ST. Exterior window cleaning at Rudolph Hall, Yale School of Architecture, including the adjacent Loria Center entrance. Temporary sequential sidewalk closures on Chapel St, approx. 138 linear ft, and York St, approx. 145 linear ft, using a battery powered scissor lift, Genie GS-4047, 96 in by 47 in, 7185 lb, plus water fed pole equipment. Each active zone is fully closed with pedestrians detoured to the opposite sidewalk via existing crosswalks and curb ramps with MUTCD R9 series signage. Only one zone is closed at a time. The two frontages are never closed simultaneously. Day 1 Aug 14 Chapel St. Day 2 Aug 15 York St. No roadway closure, no excavation, no alteration of any sidewalk surface. Full closure and pedestrian management plan with marked aerial site plans attached. Bond not required per Permit and License Center guidance July 27. Lift specs provided to City Engineering, D. Henning, for load review. Owner Yale Facilities has approved the dates.
