Remove and dispose of the existing asphalt shingles, underlayment, and existing flashing as necessary from approximately 7,400 square feet of roof area. Inspect the existing roof decking after tear-off and replace any damaged, deteriorated, delaminated, or otherwise unsuitable decking as needed with new 1/2 inch CDX plywood. Install a complete new GAF architectural asphalt shingle roofing system including synthetic underlayment, ice and water shield at required locations, starter shingles, ridge cap shingles, ridge ventilation where applicable, drip edge, pipe boots, lead flashing at roof penetrations, walls and transitions, roofing fasteners, sealants, and all required roofing accessories. Existing roof framing will remain in place and no structural alterations are included. All roofing debris will be removed and the work area will be cleaned upon completion.
