PLAN REVIEW – CORRECTIONS/CONDITIONS REQUIRED All exterior footings/foundation elements shall extend a minimum of 42 inches below finished grade. Revise/clarify all details to consistently reflect Connecticut frost depth. Provide/clarify complete foundation details for the 20' × 8' extension, including Sonotube/pier size, spacing, frost depth, beam support and positive connections. Provide the engineered roof-truss package prior to framing inspection. Truss documents shall identify design loads, bearing, connections, bracing and allowable attic/storage loading. Portal-frame construction at overhead garage doors shall comply with the approved Sheet 5 detail. No modification to overhead-door openings, headers, narrow wall panels, sheathing, fastening, hold-downs or anchors without approval. Verify structural sheathing, fastening and exterior wall bracing are installed in accordance with the approved plans. Provide/confirm approved site/plot plan and zoning approval, including structure location and required setbacks. Building Department to verify fire separation distance after approved structure location is established. Separate permits required for electrical, mechanical, plumbing or gas work where applicable. Garage/attic shall not be converted to habitable space. Attic storage shall be limited to the loading permitted by the engineered truss design. Approved plans and engineered truss documents shall remain on site and available for inspection.
