Re-roofing - R

Remove and replace roof. Remove existing roofing materials down to the roof deck and inspect existing sheathing. Replace any deteriorated or damaged roof sheathing as necessary.Install approximately 27 squares of new asphalt architectural roofing shingles. GAF HDZ. Install 6 feet of self-adhering ice and water barrier at all eaves. Install approved roof deck seam tape over all plywood sheathing seams, followed by synthetic roofing underlayment over the roof deck. Existing roof ventilation consists of a ridge vent and will remain unchanged. No modifications to the existing ventilation system are proposed. Install/replace step flashing at roof-to-wall intersections as required, and properly flash all roof penetrations and applicable roof transitions.
