Remove and dispose of one existing layer of asphalt shingles, inspect the roof sheathing, replace damaged areas with matching-thickness CDX plywood as needed, and re-nail the existing sheathing where retained. Install plywood seam tape where required, new aluminum drip and rake edges, ice and water shield at the eaves, valleys, and penetrations, and approved roof underlayment. Install GAF WeatherBlocker starter strip, GAF Timberline HDZ SG shingles using six nails per shingle, GAF Snow Country ridge vent, GAF Seal-A-Ridge cap shingles, and new plumbing vent boots.
