Decks - R

Construct a new residential wood/composite outdoor deck attached to the rear of the primary dwelling. Deck will be 14ft. x 30ft. (420 sq. ft.), with a maximum height of 36in. above grade. Foundation will have 12in. diameter poured concrete footings extending 42in. below grade. Framing materials (all pressure treated): 6x6 posts, triple 2x8 beams, and 2x8 joists 16in. center on center. Deck boards will be Trex. Ledger boards will be 2x8 pressure treated and bolted to both sides of house. Guardrails will be 36in. tall and stairs/handrail compliant with code.
