DEMOLITION - RESIDENTIAL REMOVAL
86 Grand St
The asbestos identified in the survey is limited to exterior, non-friable siding shingles on the porch. I would like to use the NYS Industrial Code Rule 56 Homeowner Exemption to remove them safely myself using wet methods to ensure they remain non-friable and intact. I have already confirmed the disposal requirements with UCRRA on Flatbush Road, and all materials will be double-bagged and transported by appointment to their facility.\n\nThe contractor will do the following:\n\n* Protect surrounding areas prior to demolition.\n\n* Remove and dispose of all non-asbestos and all non-lead material from job site.\n\n* Demolish existing walls, ceilings, flooring of the rear porch once the electrical is removed by the electrician.
