REPAIR/REPLACE

73 & 75 Crown St

Filed May 11, 2026·Kingston· Permit Issued

STAMPED PROPOSAL SUBMITTED 7/10/26 AND APPROVED ON 7/13/26. ***STRUCTURAL REPAIR APPROVED PER STAMPED AND APPROVED DRAWINGS.***\n***SITE TO BE SECURED AND FALL PROTECTION TO BE INSTALLED AROUND EXCAVATION SITE. DIGSAFE TO BE NOTIFIED*** \nThere is significant movement and settling of the rear corner of 73 crown st, likely due to poor drainage and a utility pole that was installed many years ago close to our foundation. There are cracks in our brickwork and water leaking into the building. Our goal is to support the building likely using techno posts that will attach to the foundation. In order to see the exact extent of the project and so the engineer can properly design the attachment points, we need to do a small amount of exploratory excavation. Unfortunately there is no basement under that portion of the building to do the excavation internally. We are proposing a 3'x6' section be excavated.
