RESIDENTIAL OIL TANK INSTALL or REMOVAL

Oil tank removal- Abandon or removal of a 550-gallon underground oil storage tank in the rear of the house. Acceptable soil sampling must be performed with a calibrated P.I.D. meter or soil sampling. Should soil sampling reveal unacceptable levels, then remediation must occur under a spill report and guidance by N.Y.D.E.C. regulations. Upon disposal of the tank a disposition statement must be provided on company letterhead and a copy of the scrap receipt.
