743 Beckley Rd I am applying for a permit for a full roof replacement on my owner-occupied single-family ranch residence constructed in approximately 1958 - 27 SQ. The work will include complete removal of the existing roofing materials, inspection of the existing roof framing after removal of the roofing materials, and replacement or patching of the existing 1x8 tongue-and-groove roof decking as necessary to restore and maintain a continuous roof surface. The project will include installation of a complete new roofing system consisting of ice and water shield, synthetic underlayment, drip edge, flashing, and architectural asphalt shingles. The primary roof structure of the house will remain in place. Any required framing repairs will be limited to localized repairs identified during the reroofing process. No changes to the overall footprint or primary structural configuration of the residence are proposed as part of this project.
