Frank’s Mr. Plumber will reconfigure the existing water heater connections to improve safety and bring the installation into proper working condition. Scope of work includes: * Replace the existing hot and cold water connections with copper piping extending a minimum of 18 inches from the water heater. * Adapt the new cold-water copper piping to the existing shutoff valve. * Reconfigure the temperature and pressure relief valve discharge tube so it terminates no more than 6 inches above the floor. * Properly align and secure the flue vent connections using approved sheet-metal screws. * Inspect all modified water and vent connections. * Restore the water supply, check for leaks, and verify proper water-heater operation. This estimate covers only the listed reconfiguration work. Any additional repairs required due to concealed damage, improper chimney conditions, or deficiencies outside the immediate water-heater installation will be discussed with the customer before proceeding. 8/26/26. Brought the hwt to code by bringing the copper up at least 18”. Securing the flu with screws. Replacing the blowoff tube so it is less than 6 inches from the ground.
