We will be replacing the 150-amp overhead electrical service. The point of attachment for the utility lines will be relocated to the driveway side of the residence. This upgrade includes the installation of a new upper service cable and a new meter, complete with a main breaker disconnect, on the driveway side of the property. A new lower service cable will be routed from the rear of the new meter, across the basement, and to a new main breaker panel situated where the current fuse boxes are located. We will install a new 150-amp, 30-space, 60-circuit main breaker panel to replace the existing fuse panels. Furthermore, we will update the grounding and bonding systems. This encompasses the installation of new ground rods, a ground connection to the water meter, bonding of the hot, cold, and gas lines at the water heater, and the installation of a ground bridge. Additionally, we will install a whole-home surge protector and a hardwired smoke/CO detector to ensure compliance with current codes.
