Work described
From the filingProposed work will include residential plumbing, gas piping, and hydronic heating alterations associated with kitchen renovation and installation of a new bar sink and powder room. Existing kitchen sink waste, vent, and domestic hot and cold-water piping will be relocated to accommodate new kitchen layout. Existing 3-inch sanitary waste piping will be rerouted into the wall area and reconnected to existing drainage piping in the crawlspace and above. New rough plumbing will be provided for one bar sink and one powder room containing one toilet and one lavatory, including associated water, waste, and vent connections. New 1½-inch vent piping will be installed, increased to 2 inches, and routed above the rafters to a proposed exterior-wall termination, subject to applicable termination requirements and approval. Approximately 30 linear feet of ¾-inch stainless-steel WARDFLEX gas piping will be installed to serve one gas range, including associated fittings, supports, shutoff valve, and connection provisions. Gas piping capacity will be verified against the appliance input and system operating pressure. Required bonding and gas pressure testing will be provided. The existing boiler will be temporarily shut down, and the affected heating loop will be drained to allow piping alterations. Domestic hot and cold water piping and affected hydronic heating lines will be cut, rerouted, and reconnected around the new structural steel beam, including the additional heating line alongside the beam. The former baseboard heating loop supply and return will be drained and capped for a future air-handler connection. Following reconnection, the affected heating system will be refilled, repressurized, purged of air, and checked for proper operation. Required plumbing and gas piping tests and applicable inspections will be coordinated. The proposed scope will serve four plumbing fixtures: one relocated kitchen sink, one new bar sink, one new powder-room lavatory, and one new toilet, plus one gas range connection. Fixture and appliance supply, final fixture installation, boiler replacement, and the future air-handler connection will be excluded from this scope.
