Homeowner performing electrical work associated with the conversion of an existing approximately 350 sq. ft. attached garage into a finished family room. Work is associated with previously approved building permit (0015-2025) Work includes installation of recessed ceiling lighting, wall switches, standard electrical receptacles, and two exterior GFCI-protected receptacles. Additional electrical wiring will be installed for a TV/media wall and electric fireplace. Work also includes installation of electrical wiring, required circuit protection, and an exterior disconnect for a mini-split heating and cooling system. All work will be performed by the homeowner in accordance with the applicable Connecticut State Electrical Code and subject to required inspections.
