****MARGARET IS ASSIGNED TO THIS **** Roof replacement, 14 sq. Roofing: Remove the existing shingles and install new GAF Timberline HDZ architectural shingles. Decking: Approximately half of the roof has existing spaced boards. New 1/2-inch plywood will be installed over that section, and the plywood seams will be taped with CT IRC compliant Protecto Roof Deck Tape Xtra. The existing tongue-and-groove decking on the other section will remain in place. Ice and Water Protection: Install Tarco Ice & Water MS300 6 feet up from the eaves, around roof penetrations and the chimney, and over the roof sections receiving full ice and water coverage, including the valleys. Underlayment: Install ABC Pro Guard 20 synthetic underlayment on the remaining roof areas with new plywood decking. Ventilation: Block off the existing gable vent and install new Owens Corning InFlow roof intake vents and GAF Cobra Snow Country ridge vent. Flashing: Install new chimney flashing and counterflashing, plumbing vent flashings, and aluminum drip edge. CA fee included
