Pre-Construction Coordination A mandatory pre-construction meeting shall be scheduled with the Building Department and Fire Department to review inspection protocols and project coordination requirements prior to commencement of work. 2. Site Delineation & Controls Clearly delineate all limits of disturbance on all sides of the site. Protect designated staging areas (if separate). Provide signage at both ends of site fencing. Erosion and sediment controls shall be installed and maintained at all times. 3. Special Inspections (Required) Special inspections shall be performed in accordance with an approved Statement of Special Inspections. Reports shall be submitted to the Building Department. Required inspections include, but are not limited to: Placed concrete (including testing) Structural framing (including all metal framing and fasteners) Roof structure and covering Final special inspection reports shall be submitted and approved prior to issuance of the Certificate of Occupancy. 4. Accessibility Requirements Accessible features shall be installed in accordance with approved plans and applicable codes. Accessible bathrooms shall include: Grab bars (side and rear) All required clearances and fixtures per code 5. Life Safety Requirements Emergency lighting and exit signage shall be installed as required by code. Fire protection systems (sprinkler and fire alarm) shall be installed in accordance with approved plans and applicable NFPA standards. 6. Data/IT Room Provide dedicated air conditioning in accordance with manufacturer specifications. 7. Safety Glazing Safety glazing shall be installed where required by code. 8. Structural / Envelope Requirements Verify design wind loads are met. Parapets shall be constructed in accordance with approved plans and code requirements. 9. Above-Ceiling Inspection A separate above-ceiling inspection is required prior to concealment. Inspection shall verify: Proper anchoring of fixtures Proper installation and anchoring of ceiling grid systems 10. Emergency Systems Provide emergency electrical shut-down at roof level for mechanical equipment as required. 11. Exterior Lighting Exterior lighting shall be installed along all four (4) sides of the building. 12. Inspection Coordination All inspections shall be scheduled through the Building Department. No work shall be concealed prior to required inspections being completed and approved. Inspection protocols shall be coordinated with both Building and Fire Departments. 13. Final Inspection / Certificate of Occupancy A final inspection is required prior to issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy (CO). All departments must sign off prior to CO issuance. 14. General Conditions All work shall be performed in accordance with approved plans. Any changes or revisions must be submitted for review and approval prior to implementation. Failure to comply with these conditions may result in stop work orders, fines, or other enforcement actions.
