The school is proposing to renovate the existing Fitness Center and provide new fitness equipment. The renovated Fitness Center will include the construction of a new office space for staff with new work surface and storage and new storage lockers. There will be new finishes throughout, including painting of the walls and exposed roof structure and new flooring. A new bottle filler station will replace the existing drinking fountain. New electrical will be provided for new equipment as noted on drawings in addition to conduit and backboxes for speakers, cameras and AV components. The existing heating, air conditioning and ventilation system will be upgraded with additional ductwork, a new dehumidification system and a new secondary air conditioner utilizing a new mini-split unit. Your application for a Building Permit has been reviewed for compliance with the 2022 State of Connecticut Building Code. The permit for the proposed work is approved.
