(ALMA Elec) Remove all existing electrical devices, including receptacles, switches, lighting fixtures, and associated electrical equipment throughout the 3,176-square-foot residence and attached garage. Disconnect and remove the existing fire-damaged main electrical panel. Furnish and install one new 200-amp residential load center complete with a matching exterior meter socket with emergency disconnect. Install a complete grounding and bonding system, including an 8-foot copper grounding electrode, grounding electrode conductor, and all required bonding connections to the water service. Perform continuity, insulation resistance (megger), and circuit integrity testing on all existing branch-circuit conductors to determine whether existing wiring can be safely reused. It is anticipated that approximately 70% to 90% of the existing wiring may be suitable for reuse, subject to testing results. Furnish and install approximately 40 new branch circuits as required to restore complete electrical service throughout the residence, including the attached garage and basement. Provide and install dedicated electrical circuits for the boiler and water heater, utilizing the appropriate 120-volt or 240-volt circuit configuration as required by the manufacturer's specifications. Install dedicated laundry circuits, including a dryer and washing machine. Install one dedicated 120-volt circuit and receptacle for the basement sump pump. Furnish and install a complete hardwired, interconnected smoke and carbon monoxide alarm system with battery backup.
