Install two head mini split system BUILDING OFFICIAL NOTES: Please be aware it has come to our attention that Fujitsu brand mini split type evaporators apparently do not come with a condensate overflow shut off device installed at the factory, and that their recommendation is to field install a condensate pump with a failure monitor. Please refer to 2021 IRC sections M1411.3.1 #4, and M1411.3.1.1 Please provide documents from the manufacturer that indicates the units are compliant, or install the required devices. There has been a suggestion that the installer might install two drain tubes using the alternate side drain typically plugged off, in compliance with M1411.3.1 #2. I recommend discussing this with the manufacturer if you choose to do this. The second tube would have to pitch behind the head.
