Removal and reinstallation of twenty-eight (28) existing roof-mounted solar photovoltaic panels to facilitate replacement of the existing roof. The panels are proposed to be reinstalled in the same general location and configuration. No increase in system size or generating capacity is authorized under this permit. Permit conditions The removal and reinstallation of the photovoltaic system shall comply with the applicable requirements of the 2025 Residential Code of New York State, including Sections R329, R907.1, and M2301.2.2.1. The contractor shall verify that the existing roof structure is capable of supporting the reinstalled photovoltaic system and associated loads.
