12'x24' concrete pad for new shed. Shed permit shall be applied for separately. Provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to construct a reinforced concrete slab. The work shall include layout and excavation of the designated area to the required depth. Preparation and grading of the subgrade to provide a stable foundation. Installation and compaction of a minimum 4-inch crushed stone/gravel base. Installation of formwork to establish the slab dimensions and finished elevations. Installation of reinforcing steel or welded wire mesh, as required by the applicable building code and project specifications. Placement of a minimum 4-inch-thick, 4,000 PSI concrete slab, finished with a broom finish unless otherwise specified. Installation of control joints at appropriate intervals to help minimize shrinkage cracking. Proper finishing and curing of the concrete in accordance with industry standards. Removal of forms, site cleanup, and disposal of all construction debris. All work shall be performed in accordance with the Connecticut State Building Code, local municipal requirements, and accepted industry standards.
