The project will construct a 4-Story addition to Shea's Buffalo against its south facade on the parcel at 439 Pearl Street Buffalo, NY. The building will hold 3 elevators, an egress stair, restrooms, lobby, lounges, and mechanical areas. The site will include a vehicular drop off, an exterior patio, and planting beds. Pedestrian access onto the site will include heated sidewalks, including a large area of covered sidewalks via an awning attached to the building. The building will be fully sprinklered and separated from the existing building by fire rated doors and partitions.Facade materials include stone veneer rainscreen, stainless steel panels, and aluminum curtain walls. Exterior signage to include digital displays on the new and existing building and other stationary signage. Exterior lighting to be building focused with lit bollards spread across the site.Demolition to include the excavation/infill of an existing one-story basement located beneath the existing parking lot on the site. New penetrations in the south wall of Shea's Buffalo to be made for access between the existing and new structure.An existing vault beneath the sidewalk right-of-way at Pearl Street will be maintained/reconstructed to house electrical service (In coordination with National Grid) and a Trash Removal lift.
