*** <b>AKA 547 Delavan East</b> *** The proposed project consists of the re-development of a site located at 547 East Delavan Avenue that currently consists of an exposed steel frame structure and vacant land in what was formerly the Houde Engineering Company factory. For the purpose of the construction documents, the project’s address will be referred to as 541 East Delavan Avenue. The scope of work entails the construction of a 44,000 SF core and shell building, utilizing the existing steel frame structure, adding parking for future tenants, and redeveloping the surrounding site. The future intended use of the building, after further interior development will be for commercial/light industrial tenants. Additionally, the site is currently listed as a DEC superfund site. The design team is actively collaborating with the NYS DEC on remedial efforts to eliminate impacts on the community from construction and future use of the site.
